GPR Concrete Scanning & Service Locating

Ground Penetrating Radar Scanning (GPR) and Service Locating are reliable, non-destructive means to locate targets within concrete structures prior to penetrating the surface via concrete sawing or drilling.
Before starting a construction project, it’s important to ascertain what is contained within the concrete structure to ensure critical items embedded within the concrete remain undisturbed.
Concrete Scanning and Service Locating can be used to determine the location of:
  • Post tension cables
  • Reinforcing steel (also known as rebar)
  • Electrical conduits
  • Voids within concrete
  • Fibre optic cables
Non-invasive / Non-destructive
Structures to be preserved and project down-time to be avoided. Without any damage to surrounding structures or the reinforcing steel within concrete.Voids can be identified, located, and mapped.
Cost effective and safe
Using the latest in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology to accurately locate rebar, post-tension cables, electrical conduits along with any other embedded targets in concrete structures will assist to avoid damaging any embedded targets during concrete cutting such as structural reinforcement.
